Verona
City of Love
An interactive city trail through Verona’s historic center
Most people visiting Verona follow the same path: Juliet’s balcony, the Arena, the Piazza delle Erbe. All worth seeing.
This is something different. An interactive urban game that mixes mystery, history, and stories the guidebooks leave out β made for curious, active people who want to know the city they’re in, not just pass through it.

What to expect
No app to download. You get a link β open it on your mobile and you’re ready to go.
From the Arsenale, you follow a walking route through the historic centre, solving puzzles as you go. Along the way, you’ll come across Veronese legends, real historical characters, and the kind of local stories that don’t make it into the standard tour.
The game takes around 2.5 to 3 hours at a relaxed pace.
All you need is a fully charged phone and an internet connection.
Why it’s not your typical guided tour
There’s no schedule and no group to keep up with. You start when you want and move at your own pace.
The route doesn’t follow the obvious streets. It takes you through a mix of the well-known and the genuinely overlooked β the places that make Verona what it is, underneath the postcard version.
By the end, you’ll have covered a city you thought you knew and found a different one. The stories tend to stay with you.
Who it’s for
Works well for curious couples, families, and groups of friends who want something beyond the usual tourist trail.

FAQ
Is this a self-guided experience?
Yes, everything runs through a web app on your smartphone, with no guide and no group to follow. Think of it as part urban adventure, part cultural discovery β all at once.
What do I need to play?
A fully charged phone and an internet connection. Comfortable shoes are a good idea. Bring some water too, especially in summer.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Open the link on your phone and you’re ready to go.
How difficult is it?
The puzzles vary. Some are about observation, others need a bit of logical thinking. No specialist knowledge required, and there are hints if you get stuck.
Is it suitable for children?
It works well for families with children aged 10 and up. Younger children are welcome but may need help with some of the puzzles.
Can I pause and continue later?
Yes. Your answers are saved automatically, so you can take a break and pick up exactly where you left off.
What if it rains?
The game works in any weather. Some stops have covered areas, but I’d recommend checking the forecast before you head out.
How do I receive the game?
You buy the game through Gumroad. Once the purchase is complete, you’ll find the game link on the confirmation page β and it remains in your Gumroad account, so you can always go back to it.
What’s included in the price?
The price includes the game link. VAT is calculated at checkout based on your country and added to the total β you’ll see the exact amount before confirming your purchase on Gumroad.
Not included: museum or monument tickets (the game doesn’t require them), food, drinks, or any guided services. Everything else is just you, your phone, and the city.
What is your refund policy?
This is a digital product. Once the game link has been delivered, purchases are non-refundable β but if you run into any trouble accessing the game, get in touch at labyrintogames@gmail.com within 7 days and I’ll sort it out.
