Meet the storyteller
As a child, I used to hide little notes in the garden for my sister, just so I could watch her face light up when she found them. It wasn’t really about the game itself – it was that I wanted to spark that flash of joy that comes from discovering something that had always been there, in a spot she’d walked past a thousand times.
Almost every city-based game makes the puzzles the star, with the place serving as little more than a backdrop. I wanted to do the opposite: to build experiences where the place itself takes the lead. Real culture, local stories, the history that belongs to that one street and no other.
Slow exploration changes you, and Italy’s smaller towns, with their half-forgotten stories, have always deserved to be told.
